In reading these classic stories, I could not help but see a parallel in these dramatic novels and that of the obviously over-dramatic stories found in comic books. The covers are meant to expose Kafka’s intentions, being of seriousness, as well as, humor and a light-heart towards his subject. The lack of a title on the cover(instead found on the spine) eschews modern convention for the sake of elevating these monumental works to a new and unique voice of their own.
